Happy birthday to the heart of Mimi, Lucky 8, and

Happy birthday to the heart of Mimi, Lucky 8, and 1592 Wood Fired Kitchen & Cocktails, Eddie Zaki! 🥂
From Montreal to Alexandria to Sarasota, you've opened more than 25 restaurants, and somehow every single one feels like coming home. That's not luck. That's you. It's the way you notice the little things, the way you greet every guest like an old friend, and the way you believe that genuine hospitality is what turns a dinner into a memory.
There was a time when you could have traded the dish towel for a sailboat and set off around the world with Mila. We're so grateful you chose to chase one more dream instead, and that the dream brought you here.
Mimi is your love letter, Eddie: the golden glow, the laughter spilling from the brasserie into the speakeasy, the neighborhood living room where everyone is welcome to settle in and stay awhile. And whether it's Mimi, Lucky 8, or 1592, that same warmth fills every room you touch.
Thank you for leading with generosity, for teaching us that simple and thoughtful always wins, and for making all of us feel like family. Mila, Bethany, Anthony, and all of us across Mimi, Lucky 8, and 1592 are raising a glass to you tonight. 🍾
Here's to another year of good food, full tables, and unforgettable moments. Joyeux anniversaire, Eddie! ❤️
